How to craft a paper Christmas tree for the wall:
Step ane: Cleaning and painting
Paint the unfinished wood pallet board with a light colored paint. I wanted the woods finish to show through to maintain a rustic vibe, so I used a light tan colored milk paint. I but applied one thin layer of pigment and then the wood grain would still bear witness in places.
View in gallery Step two: Create a template for the tree.
- Cut squares of paper in the following sizes: 2″, 2.5″, 3″, 3.five″, four″.
- Fold each square in one-half diagonally.
- Cut a diagonal line slightly above the mid signal of the triangle.
- Open the cutting piece and cutting on the fold.

The v triangles created in stride two are at present the templates for the tree design. Line them upward on the lath to brand sure that you are happy with the sizes and shapes. Number the triangles ane-5.

Begin attaching the paper pieces to the board, starting from the bottom layer of the tree. Start with the middle piece, equally pictured. Use a dot of hot glue near the center of the triangle to attach information technology to the board. Slide the next piece in under the one you just glued, and hold it in identify with a dot of glue. Proceed until the bottom layer is done.

Repeat stride five with the next smaller triangles. Continue gluing the triangles in identify until the tree is complete.
